Aquaproof Fiber Mesh for Waterproofing

Available in 2 types:

1. Width 5 cm, length 10 meters

2. Width 10 cm, length 10 meters

Material and Differences:

• Polyester Mesh is made of polyester woven in a strong square pattern, durable even under extreme weather conditions such as rain and intense sun exposure.

• Fiber Type A consists of long fiber strands.

• Fiber Type B is cloth-like with a denser square weave.

Polyester Mesh is long-lasting and resists sun damage, whereas fiber mesh dries out in the sun, becomes brittle, and its sharp fiber ends can damage the waterproofing layer, causing leaks. Fiber type B appears fine when coated but has poor adhesion to the substrate and lower tensile strength compared to Polyester Mesh.

Usage:

• Other fiber reinforcements are used for strengthening cracks or leakage holes.

• Polyester Mesh is used not only as a waterproofing reinforcement but also as a structural support in vulnerable areas such as joints, corners, active movement zones, and intersections of two surfaces.
